Birth note: MCC Emigration records state that Johann was born on 12 Oct 1894 (N.S. Calendar), as does his BC Registration of Death. CMBoC records state that he was born on 20 Oct 1894.
Immigration note: The CMBoC record indicates a 13 Feb 1948 arrival date. However, for many passengers on this voyage, the arrival date is recorded as 14 Feb 1948. The latter date has been used so that they will appear on the passenger list with their fellow travellers.

Note: Isaak and Anna Peters had 5 children. Isaak and Helena, his third wife, left the Ukraine for Poland in 1943 and immigrated to Canada in 1948. Isaak changed his name during the war from Isaak to Johann. Johann and his first spouse had 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 sons. The oldest son stayed in Russia but the younger 4 children immigrated to Canada with their parents. Johann and Helena Neufeld were married for 23 years and 2 months. They adopted Hermann.
