Help for GeDCom Export

The GMOL export page extracts a limited part of the GRanDMA database and can store it on your computer as a "GeDCom" file.

A GeDCom (Genealogical Data Communication) file is a standard format for interchange between geanealogy database systems, so it can be taken to most other genealogy programs and read into those databases.

The output GedCom file that is produced by GMOL will contain information on and all the ancestry of plus the children of those ancestors. Sources and notes are included.
