When a citation on the Individual Profile in GRanDMA OnLine ends with a "View" button, that button will take you to a display of an image of the original document.
These citation-image links are only found in GRanDMA OnLine. Using the tools at the left, users can manipulate the image to make it more useful. After changing one of these parameters, click on "Refresh."

• Scale Most of the images in these collections were scanned at far too high a resolution to fully display on a computer screen. Using the Scale selection, you can display at higher resolution and then use the scrollbars to examine a part of the image.
• Brightness Increase the brightness of the image. (Note that although most images do not benefit from this setting, there are occasionally some that do.
• Contrast Modest increase in contrast may make some images easier to read.
• Grayscale Use according to your taste.
• Sharpen Turning on sharpening often helps with the readability.

• Download The images may be downloaded. It is always the original image that is downloaded. If you wish to use the image elsewhere, you may need to apply your own graphics tools.
