How can GRanDMA be searched?

There are two categories of tools for searching the GRanDMA database.

One is with an online tool, used by nearly 95% of GRanDMA users. GRanDMA OnLine (GMOL) is genealogical software that provides search, display, and report tools through your browser. GMOL was written specifically for the GRanDMA database. A subscription costs $20 for 2 years.

Others search with genealogical software that resides on the user's local computer. Most of those use Brother’s Keeper®. A subscription to download BK updates costs $40 for 2 years. A small number use other software and subscribe to GEDCOM updates, also $40 for 2 years.

If you wish to compare the GMOL and BK approaches, consult the detailed comparison.

The GRanDMA OnLine Frequently-Asked-Questions may answer some specific questions about the online method.

The Brother’s Keeper Frequently-Asked-Questions may answer some specific questions about Brother’s Keeper®.
